Slow Stochastic, Technical Study, Technical Indicator

The Slow Stochastic is an indicator measures overbought and oversold conditions in the market. It is comprised of two lines, the %K and the %D line. The range of oscillate is between 0% and 100%.

%K is the number of periods in the chart. If the chart is a daily chart, then the %K number denotes days. If the chart is a weekly chart, then the %K number denotes weeks.

%D is the number of periods used in the Moving Average calculation.

Stochastic above 80% often indicates an overbought condition while below 20% indicates oversold condition.
